According to the leak, Fortnite still has more changes in store for its collaboration with The Simpsons, with the Springfield Retirement Castle set to be added as a Point of Interest. The post does not clarify a specific release date for the Springfield Retirement Castle’s addition to the game, though it suggests the update will be later in the season. The retirement home’s addition has also sparked speculation that Fortnite may add a skin based on grandpa Abe Simpson.

Fortnite‘s newest mini-season has come with plenty more festivities beyond the extensive array of changes to the battle royale. The Simpsons aired the first of four planned animated specials centering around the Fortnite collaboration on Saturday, with the collaboration also getting a special couch gag in the next normal episode of the show. Rocket League also saw some collaborative content as part of the Epic Games Simpsons crossover, introducing new Toppers, Wheels, and Boosts to the game among other cosmetics.
Fortnite‘s major collaboration with The Simpsons arrives to the game as leaks have already started to give an idea about some of Season 7’s big crossovers. Leaks have begun to hint at crossovers with some other popular animated series set to launch in the near future, including Fortnite teaming up with South Park, SpongeBob SquarePants, and more to come. Epic Games has even already confirmed one new crossover for 2026, with Resident Evil Requiem fans able to pick up a Grace Ashcroft skin for pre-purchasing the game on the Epic Games Store. Fortnite looks to have lots of exciting content on the way for fans as it moves into Season 7.
