This is a tough one, as not everyone who loved the first game migrated to the sequel. According to Steamcharts.com (data shown in the above image), Deceit was averaging more players than its successor during 2025’s first few months, and the latter has only received a minor boost since World Makers announced the first game’s closure. While not the exact same, Deceit 2 has Legacy Mode, which seeks to offer a similar experience to the original release.

One of the most iconic and influential games of the 2010s is hitting a bittersweet milestone on November 13. PUBG will be launching on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, which should result in more stability and smoother implementation of updates. The performance should also surpass the last-generation versions. Consequently, the game will no longer be available on PS4 and Xbox One, ending its roughly 7-year run on both platforms.

Ultimately, this is a necessary step to help secure the game’s future, and an argument could be made that it should have happened sooner. Still, it is sad to see such a landmark release end its support for two platforms that helped put it on the map, even if they are outdated by this point. However, this should allow PUBG on console to be closer in quality to the PC version.

Tribe Nine (November 27)

Gacha RPG Shutting Down In Less Than A Year

Launching less than a year ago, Tribe Nine has unfortunately announced plans to shut down completely towards the end of November 2025. On Steam, the game peaked at just under 10K players, but it has not averaged more than 50 users since June 2025. Such a low turnout is unsustainable for an online-only gacha game that lives and dies on forming a consistent and dedicated community, something Tribe Nine never quite managed to obtain.

Tribe Nine had a pretty frustrating launch that made obtaining currency organically exhausting; while eventually changes were made to make the game more generous to free players, the damage was already done by that point. It is a shame, as Tribe Nine is one of the more visually interesting and unique gacha games on the market, and the gameplay foundation is solid enough.

EA Sports FC Empires (November 30)

Region-Specific Early Access Game Shutting Down

OK, here is another special case. Technically, EA Sports FC Empires never actually launched, as the mobile game has yet to leave early access. Furthermore, it only launched in a few regions like Brazil and the UK, with a North American version never materializing. Consequently, EA’s announcement that FC Empires will close its servers on November 30 will likely cause some people to scratch their heads. While I never had the chance to play the management game, the world could use another entry in the genre that could compete with Football Manager.

EA has confirmed that four racing games will be shutting down their online servers on November 8, so those modes will no longer be available. The single-player offline content will still be playable.

If any of these strike your fancy, this is the time to open your wallet. That said, it might be worth waiting until a few days before they are removed, just to see if they are discounted.
