Marvel’s Wolverine limited edition PS5 console & accessories

Just a month before Marvel’s Wolverine by Insomniac Games is set to go live, Sony is releasing a series of limited edition PS5 consoles, console covers and DualSense controllers featuring the titular superhero to build up the hype. 

The designs were done up by Scottish graphic artist Jock, a prolific comic artist and one of the names behind the key art for the upcoming Wolverine game. 

The star of the show is the PS5 Digital Edition – Marvel’s Wolverine Battle Yellow Limited Edition Bundle, the only console offered as part of this Wolverine-inspired lineup. Apart from the themed console and DualSense controller, the bundle will also come with a Marvel’s Wolverine game code.

If you already own a PS5 Slim (Digital or Disc) fear not, because you can also purchase console covers with the exact same look. The same is true for PS5 Pro owners, though they get an extra option of an Adamantium edition console cover, which features the same design but with a metallic finish.

Finally, here’s a closer look at the controllers. The DualSense controller bundled in with the Battle Yellow PS5 will have a matching design, including stylised slash marks. Meanwhile, there’s also an Adamantium edition DualSense controller that will also feature a metallic finish. Both controllers will also be available separately.

Availability and Pricing

The limited edition PS5 Digital Edition Wolverine bundle and the controllers will be up for pre-order on 19 August at 10am, though the covers will not be included as part of it. All products will be available starting 15 September (coinciding with the release of Marvel’s Wolverine), with the Adamantium edition DualSense being available only in “select retailer channels”, which we’ll know about on a later date.
