JOHOR BAHRU – A Malaysian heading to work in Singapore was killed on the spot in an accident in Jalan Lingkaran Dalam in Johor Bahru at 4.30am on Oct 9.
Johor Bahru South police chief Raub Selamat said the 50-year-old man, who worked as a security guard, was travelling by motorcycle.
“The victim lost control of the machine and crashed into the concrete road divider on the stretch towards Bangunan Sultan Iskandar,” Assistant Commissioner Raub said in a statement.
He added that the impact of the crash left the victim with severe head injuries.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics from Hospital Sultanah Aminah, he added. THE STAR/ASIA NEWS NETWORK
