In 2024, CEO Yves Guillemot hinted at such, saying, “Players can be excited about some remakes, which will allow us to revisit some of the games we’ve created in the past and modernize them.”
His use of the plural “remakes” hinted at remakes other than just Black Flag Resynced, but Ubisoft has now confirmed the status of other Assassin’s Creed games under active development.

However, just because they’re not actively being worked on, don’t rule out the possibility of more remakes, or rereleases, sometime in the future. “Like many of you, we love the idea of revisiting our classic titles, and we’ll keep exploring opportunities to bring older titles back. That door remains open because, after all… Nothing is true, everything is permitted,” Ubisoft said, referencing the oft-repeated Assassin maxim.
