World of Warcraft Fans Have Until November 3 to Get 15 New Items

The Day of the Dead has returned to World of Warcraft in a big way this year, with 15 incredible and inexpensive head transmogs that can be purchased for a limited time. This micro-holiday will only be active in World of Warcraft until November 3, so fans will need to act fast in order to collect these awesome cosmetics.

World of Warcraft has officially wrapped up its Hallow’s End celebrations until next year, but deathly celebrations have not ended in Azeroth yet. The Day of the Dead, an in-game analogue to the eponymous real-life holiday that originated in Mexico, has returned to the game for a short while, giving players the chance to earn its accompanying achievements and collect some delightful rewards.

However, this year, Day of the Dead has added a massive amount of items fans can collect for a limited time. Chapman, the Day of the Dead vendor found in any World of Warcraft capital city during the event, sells three new head transmog items in five different colors for 100 Gold each, so for the low price of 1500 Gold, players can add 15 new class-agnostic cosmetics to their collections. That said, Day of the Dead doesn’t last long; the event leaves World of Warcraft on November 3 at 10 AM PT, meaning fans have less than 48 hours from press time to log in and buy these items.

Each option comes in Heartblossom, Lotus, Marigold, Orchid, and Starflower-themed colors that change the adornments, metal, hearts, and other details on every given mask. What’s more, none of these head items hide the character’s hair, making them incredible picks for transmog enthusiasts.

Rewards from previous Day of the Dead events are still available from Chapman during this time as well. The Whimsical Skull Mask and Bouquet of Orange Marigolds transmogs, plus the four Contender’s Costume toys, are other rewards that can be purchased for cheap, while the Day of the Dead armor for the Cliffside Wylderdrake remains sits at 50,000 Gold for those with deeper pockets. Gamers can also earn a handful of special achievements during the event, including one simply by dancing with Catrina in a graveyard in World of Warcraft.

After Day of the Dead, WoW’s 21st anniversary kicks off on November 16, Pilgrim’s Bounty on the 23rd, and the Feast of Winter Veil on December 15. Players will have to wait and see what new holiday surprises World of Warcraft has in store for them during these upcoming events.
