Razer’s flagship Huntsman lineup now has two new 8KHz keyboards

Given that it’s analog , though, the switches on the Huntsman V3 Pro 8KHz are capable of analog input, with adjustable actuation of 0.1 to 4.0mm. The Huntsman V3 Pro 8KHz also comes with all the bells and whistles you’d expect from a flagship Razer keyboard, including Rapid Trigger and Snap Tap, the latter of which prioritises the latest input within two keys without having to release the first key. 

Razer also states that while in its 8KHz mode (enabled through Razer Synapse), the new Huntsman is capable of an average latency of 0.58ms, which it says is 11% faster than its nearest competitor (though it didn’t name exactly which board it tested).

It’s also worth noting, though, that because of this focus on speed, the Huntsman V3 Pro 8KHz is a wired-only keyboard, and you’d be stuck with the Analog Optical Gen-2s as it’s unlikely that the board is hot-swappable with any other types of switches. They are pre-lubed, however.

Pricing and Availability

The Razer Huntsman V3 Pro 8KHz and V3 Pro TKL 8KHz is available on Razer’s website now, as well as at RazerStores and select retailers. The full-size board costs S$399, while the TKL version starts at S$349 for the black colourway, with the white and Esports Green Edition costing S$369 and S$379, respectively.
