Iconic Game Reportedly Joining PS Plus November 2025 Lineup

The PlayStation Plus November 2025 lineup will reportedly include Grand Theft Auto 5. The purported addition, leaked by a reliable source, would mark the iconic game’s third PS Plus appearance to date.

GTA 5 was first made available to PS Plus subscribers in December 2023, a few months following its tenth anniversary. It was removed from the service in mid-June 2024, then returned five months later for a second six-month stint that ended in late May 2025.

PlayStation Plus Leak Points to GTA 5’s Return on November 18

Rockstar’s iconic game is now once again on its way to PlayStation Plus, according to a new report from Dealabs’ Billbil-kun. The reliable French leaker claims that GTA 5 will be joining Sony’s subscription service as part of this month’s additions to the Extra- and Premium-tier library, which are scheduled to arrive on November 18. That’s one day ahead of the first anniversary of GTA 5 last joining PS Plus.

GTA 5 Will Reportedly Stay on PS Plus Until Mid-2026

Billbil-kun reports that GTA 5‘s third stint in Sony’s content catalog will likely match the length of the previous two. The game is therefore expected to remain on the service until the second half of May 2026. This would effectively mirror its second run, which ended with Sony pulling GTA 5 from PS Plus in May 2025.

PS Plus catalog rotations are typically announced on the second Wednesday of each month, which this time falls on November 12. Aside from GTA 5, there are currently no indications of which other titles may join Sony’s subscription service as part of its next library update. Separately, the PS Plus free monthly games for November 2025 are already available to claim, with this month’s lineup consisting of Stray, EA Sports WRC 24, and Totally Accurate Battle Simulator. Based on Sony’s usual schedule, December 1 is expected to be the last day to claim the trio. The company’s communication patterns also suggest that the free games for December 2025 will be announced on November 26.

All GTA 5 PlayStation Plus Stints

GTA 5‘s prospective return to PS Plus was leaked just as Rockstar delayed GTA 6 for the second time since revealing it in December 2023. The highly anticipated title is now set to reach the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on November 19, 2026. It had previously been rescheduled from late 2025 to May 26. Rockstar cited the need to further polish GTA 6 as the chief reason for the latest delay.
