WhatsApp is rolling out three security enhancements designed to make it harder for scammers to gain access to your account and easier for users to identify suspicious calls.
Support for multiple passkeys
WhatsApp introduced passkeys almost a year ago, and the company says more than one billion users have now enabled the feature.
The latest update makes passkeys more flexible. Users can now add more than one passkey to their WhatsApp account, which is particularly useful if they regularly switch between Android and iOS devices.
Passkeys allow users to sign in using the device’s built-in authentication method, such as a fingerprint or face scan, instead of relying on a traditional password.
