When Is The Simpsons Live Event in Fortnite

Fortnite and The Simpsons are coming together for an epic crossover this November. Once Chapter 6 Season 4 ends, Fortnite players will have to part with the current island and prepare themselves for the seventh Battle Royale map, where they will experience every match for a year.

Before Chapter 7 begins, a Simpsons-themed mini-season will take place, and fans are beyond excited for this. To get the crossover started, Epic Games is hosting a live event. This guide tells players when they can expect The Simpsons event to begin in Fortnite and how to watch it.

The Simpsons Live Event Start Time

According to the official Fortnite Twitter account, The Simpsons live event is scheduled for Saturday, November 1, at 11 AM ET. However, players have been advised to “drop in” before this time so they can ensure that they’re not too late and don’t miss the event.

Fortnite will disable matchmaking for 40 minutes on October 31 at 2 AM ET. This is most likely so the developers can prepare for the upcoming event.

How to Watch The Simpsons Live Event in Fortnite

Epic Games has not provided clear details of how players can watch The Simpsons live event, but since there have been no mentions of creative island codes or interactive experience maps, it will most likely take place on the Battle Royale island. This means that in order to watch The Simpsons event players should enter a Battle Royale or Zero Build match a few minutes before 11 AM ET on November 1.

It is unknown if weapons or enemy fire will be disabled during the event, so to guarantee that they are able to watch it, players should simply glide around the map once they’ve left the Battle Bus and avoid getting too close to any enemies if they reach the ground.

It is likely that whatever happens will take place by the mysterious anomaly tree near Creepy Camps, as Bart’s treehouse seems to be somehow connected with the strange, purple energy.

According to reliable dataminers, such as HYPEX, once the live event ends, an end screen will appear, and downtime will start. Once servers go down, Chapter 6 Season 4 will officially be over, and players will have to wait until downtime ends to jump back into Fortnite.
