Over 350,000 have registered for QR code system at JB checkpoints


More than 350,000 people have registered for the National Integrated Immigration System (NIISe) to use QR code lanes at the Johor-Singapore border.

Johor state’s Works, Transportation, Infrastructure and Communication Committee chairman Mohamad Fazli Mohamad Salleh said the uptake among Malaysian users, however, remained lower than expected.

“As of Oct 30, some 358,000 people have registered for NIISe and I hope to see more participation from Malaysians.
