The iPhone 18 Pro could end up costing even more than previously expected, as Apple continues to grapple with soaring semiconductor prices.
According to GF Securities analyst Jeff Pu, the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max could see price increases of between US$250 and US$300 (~S$321 to S$385) over the current-generation models.
Pu’s forecast is also notably higher than earlier estimates from market research firm IDC, which projected that Apple may raise iPhone 18 Pro prices by up to US$200 (~S$258). Even under IDC’s more conservative scenario, the starting prices of the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max in Singapore would likely exceed S$2,000 and S$2,100, respectively.
