Silent Hill 2 exhibition in Tokyo, with merch released globally

If you’re thinking of heading to Tokyo anytime within the next three weeks (or if you happen to live in Japan), you might want to check out Parco Games’s Silent Hill 2 exhibition that’s happening in town from 24 July to 17 August.

This exhibition, located at Ikebukuro Parco, features what Parco Games calls “spatial art, video and sound”. That’s not too terribly descriptive, but from what Parco has shared, it seems to very haunted house-esque (and incredibly dark).

What’s stopping the exhibition from being just a survival horror funfair attraction, though, is the showcase of some of the concept art, assets and other design elements for Silent Hill 2.

While many of us here probably won’t be able to head to Japan so soon, at the very least, the merchandise coming alongside the exhibition is being released internationally. Here’s a look at what some of the merch going for sale at the exhibition.

All these items are available on Parco’s online store, though they’re still on pre-order and will only begin shipping in August. Speaking of which, Parco doesn’t ship directly to Singapore; instead, you have to follow their guide on purchasing with Buyee here (you’ll need to disable any widget blockers for this).

The cheapest merchandise starts at ¥440 (~S$3.50) for postcards depicting scenes from the game, going up to ¥6,600 for the shirts (though this is before shipping). If you are, by chance, heading to Tokyo, there’s merch exclusive to the physical venue as well.
