Call of Duty Season 5 arrives to Black Ops 7 and Warzone later this month. Activision has revealed a few details of what players can expect for this next batch of content, including the return of the Frequency map and Spectre operator from past Black Ops games. Season 5 will also deliver the final Zombies map to wrap up the Black Ops 7 storyline.

Season 5 of Black Ops 7 and Warzone arrives on July 23, so players won’t have to wait much longer for new content. Call of Duty’s big updates usually go live at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET / 5 PM BST across all platforms.
What to expect from Season 5
Call of Duty seasons typically include a brand-new battle pass, more DLC weapons to unlock, new maps, and additional game modes. A season also generally includes limited-time events and new challenges to complete.
Activision has already revealed one of the new operators for Season 5. The assassin known as Spectre returns from Black Ops 3 and 4. This operator is featured on the official artwork for Season 5, meaning they’ll likely be the main battle pass operator. Spectre is dual-wielding what looks like submachine guns and another operator is holding a light machine gun, so these are weapons teased for this new season.
