CoD: Warzone – Black Ops Royale Avalon Map And All Locations

Starting on March 12, Warzone will add a new mode called Black Ops Royale, which is inspired by Call of Duty’s original Blackout battle royale. This is a big map battle royale played on Black Ops 7’s Avalon map. However, there are some changes to the Warzone version of Avalon, and this guide will highlight all the differences and main points of interest for Black Ops Royale.

Avalon is a massive map, and there will be several ways to traverse the landscape. This includes various vehicles, a wingsuit, grappling hook, and Black Ops 7’s omnimovement. Swimming mechanics are also included for areas of the map with water.

If you’ve played Black Ops 7’s Endgame campaign mode, you’ll be familiar with several of the main points of interest, including Low Town, High Town, Water Treatment, Firing Range, and more. However, the developer drained some of the water around different coastal areas to provide new land to explore. There are also added ziplines for more traversal, and there will likely be unique map secrets to discover as well.

A side-by-side comparison of the Endgame and Warzone versions of Avalon can be found below, including a look at each of the map’s five zones. Here we break down how Black Ops Royale works, including looting, perks, inventory changes, and more.
