The Mysterious Anomaly is a cell-shaded treehouse that appeared on the Battle Royale map; fans of The Simpsons will immediately recognize it as Bart Simpson’s treehouse.
Gamers will find the Mysterious Anomaly on a hill overlooking the sea in the northwestern part of the map. If players head to Creepy Camps, they will be able to see it northwest of the location.
How to Investigate the Mysterious Anomaly in Fortnite
The treehouse itself is the anomaly, and in order to investigate it, players simply have to approach it. Once they’ve gotten close enough to Bart’s treehouse, the quest will be completed, and they will receive 20,000 XP for their efforts.
Gamers can easily climb up to the treehouse in Build Mode by building a ramp and jumping through its front entrance. In the treehouse, there is an old television that seems not to have a signal. However, every now and then, it will show images, such as known Simpsons memes and technical difficulties screens that vary as they appear.
