Leica has expanded its full-frame mirrorless camera lineup with the new Leica SL3-P, a flagship model aimed at photographers and filmmakers looking for a camera that can handle both high-resolution photography and professional video production.
At the heart of the SL3-P is a new 44-megapixel backside-illuminated full-frame sensor that offers up to 14 stops of dynamic range. It also supports a Multishot mode capable of producing 176-megapixel images, while an ISO range of 50 to 200,000 provides flexibility across a wide range of lighting conditions.
Leica has also equipped the SL3-P with a new hybrid autofocus system that combines phase detection, object detection and contrast detection autofocus. The system features 819 autofocus points, improved subject tracking and continuous shooting speeds of up to 40fps with autofocus enabled, allowing it to better handle fast-moving subjects.
