A key Apple supplier may have confirmed reports of a staggered launch schedule for the iPhone 18 lineup.
Largan Precision chairman Lin En-ping revealed during the company’s annual shareholders’ meeting that a major US client had postponed the launch of a new product to Q1 2027.
While Lin did not identify the customer by name, industry observers believe there is a strong possibility he was referring to Apple. Largan Precision is one of Apple’s most important suppliers, providing camera lenses for the iPhone and other devices. Given Apple’s long-standing relationship with the company and its traditional September iPhone launch cycle, the timing aligns closely with previous reports of a major change to the iPhone release schedule.
