About two weeks ago, a report said that Apple’s first foldable iPhone could appear in retail as late as December. This is according to Barclays analyst Tim Long, who said that Apple wants more buffer to ensure production goes smoothly.
This report was corroborated by a more recent report from Nikkei Asia, which said that manufacturing snags and engineering delays could push the launch to as far back as 2027. The report said the device is currently undergoing engineering verification testing, and that it hasn’t gone all too smoothly.
