SINGAPORE – A staff nurse at Raffles Hospital molested a male visitor to the hospital in June, after claiming that he wanted to “disinfect” the victim.
Elipe Siva Nagu’s offence caused the victim to have flashbacks of the incident, the court heard.
The 34-year-old Indian national, who was suspended from his nursing duties soon after the offence, was sentenced to a year and two months’ jail, and two strokes of the cane on Oct 24 after he pleaded guilty to a molestation charge.
