LEGO Football Fest celebrates World Cup

LEGO Football Fest celebrates World Cup

With the FIFA World Cup upon us in less than a week, LEGO has begun its own series of events to celebrate the world’s biggest sporting competition, including new licensed sets, a pop-up at Sengkang, promotions and in-store activities.

The LEGO Football Fest is happening at Compass One from now till 21 June.

Headlining LEGO’s celebrations is LEGO Football Fest, happening at Compass One from 4 to 21 June. Alongside a photo-op with LEGO versions of some star footballers (Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Kylian Mbappé and Vinicius Jr.), the event in the mall’s atrium will feature a series of challenges and activities which visitors can complete:

  • Wall of Fame, where you can build and place your own custom jersey on a LEGO wall;
  • Brick Dribble, in which visitors are invited to dribble a football through a LEGO-inspired obstacle course;
  • Robo Striker Arena, where two players take control of a LEGO robotic vehicle on a mini football pitch to shoot goals on their opposing sides;

Visitors will get a stamp card before heading into the challenges, with each activity completed getting you one stamp. Completing at least two activities nets you a LEGO mini trophy collectible or a S$10 LEGO voucher, eligible for purchases at the LEGO Football Fest pop-up store or the LEGO Certified Store at Compass One.

Speaking of the pop-up store, shoppers are also able to redeem additional items with a minimum spend. This includes a LEGO Gift Animal (30666) for a S$69 minimum, a LEGO Popcorn Guy Minifigure cushion (S$145 minimum) and a LEGO Sports Bag (S$265 minimum, with at least one purchase being from the LEGO Editions Football line).

LEGO Goal Rush, a separate in-store activity with prizes, will take place until 19 July.

To round out the FIFA World Cup commemoration, you can head down to participating LEGO Certified Stores (see here for the list of dates and times) to participate in LEGO Goal Rush, where visitors aged 5 and above can play to score opposing goals in a tabletop football field – 3 goals out of 5 in 30 seconds, and you get one of three prizes.

For the kids, there’s also a LEGO Make and Take activity at participating LEGO and Toys ‘R’ US stores until 30 July. Similar to past Make and Take activities, visitors to the store can build their own LEGO sets, including jerseys and sneakers, to take home.

Coming alongside the Compass One event are new LEGO sets featuring CR7, Messi, Mbappé and Vini Jr. These include LEGO-fied depictions of Messi and Ronaldo’s famous goal celebrations, and a Football Highlights series which features the four footballers (of which three are/were Madrid players, funnily enough).

If you’re only watching for the love of the game, LEGO also has some sets for you, of which the LEGO Editions Football (43019) set is a highlight – it may look like a normal football from the outside, but it’s capable of opening up into a diorama of a World Cup trophy celebration, borrowing some elements from the LEGO Technic line.

Another highlight includes the LEGO Editions FIFA World Cup Official Trophy (43020), which houses a mini-figure holding up an even smaller LEGO trophy. Other sets include the FIFA World Cup 2026 Official Emblem (43032) and the 2026 US Soccer National Team Jersey (43020).

For those twelve new LEGO sets, they’re available in the LEGO online store now (with one exception), and here’s how much they cost:
