Singapore Airlines to stream FIFA World Cup 2026 matches live in the air

The FIFA World Cup 2026 is just around the corner, and if you happen to be globe-trotting during that period and worried about missing your favourite matches, Singapore Airlines (SIA) might have you covered.

The airline says it will be showing matches live from 11 June to 19 July 2026 through Sport 24 on its KrisWorld Live TV service. In other words, you could be following your team’s matches in real time while cruising at 30,000 feet. Sadly, for me, Italy won’t be part of the World Cup finals for the third time in a row.

That said, this isn’t something you’ll get on every flight. Live TV on KrisWorld currently runs on SIA’s Boeing 787-10 and 737-8 Max fleets, along with 41 Airbus A350-900s and eight Boeing 777-300ERs. For context, SIA operates 65 A350-900s and 25 777-300ERs in total. Even then, streams still depend on satellite coverage, route conditions, and regulatory approvals, so it’s very much a bit of luck involved.
