WhatsApp tests new disappearing messages option

WhatsApp is testing a new disappearing messages feature designed to make chats even more private.

According to WaBetaInfo, the feature was spotted in the latest WhatsApp Testflight beta and it allows users to set a preset timer for messages to vanish after being read. Available time options include 5 minutes, 1 hour, or 12 hours.
