Counterpoint Research has released its Global Handset Model Sales Tracker for Q4 2025, revealing that Apple’s iPhones captured four of the top five spots.
Leading the pack was the iPhone 17 Pro Max, followed by the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 16. Samsung’s midrange Galaxy A56 was the only non-Apple smartphone to break into the top five.
Apple also secured another position in the top 10 with the iPhone 16e, ranking two spots ahead of the Samsung Galaxy S25. In total, iPhones made up half of the top 10 best-selling smartphones for the quarter.
