Nintendo is raising the price of the Nintendo Switch 2 across multiple regions, including the North America, Europe, Japan, and yes, even Singapore and the rest of Southeast Asia. This comes less than two years after the handheld’s launch. The gaming company said the revisions are being made “in light of changes in market conditions” and the broader global business and geopolitical outlooks.
For US gamers, the updated pricing will take effect from 1 September 2026, with the standard Nintendo Switch 2 going up by US$50.
| Region | Current price | Revised price |
|---|---|---|
| Japan (Japan-language model) | ¥49,980 | ¥59,980 |
| United States | US$449.99 | US$499.99 |
| Canada | CA$629.99 | CA$679.99 |
| Europe | €469.99 | €499.99 |
| Singapore | S$719 | S$TBC |
Nintendo also confirmed that Japan will see earlier price adjustments from 25 May 2026, including increases across both the Switch 2 and the original Switch hardware models. Nintendo Switch Online subscription pricing in Japan will also be revised later this year.
