If you’ve been telling yourself to just wait a bit longer before picking up a PlayStation 5, this might be the point where that plan starts to fall apart.
Sony is bumping up PS5 prices again and this round of increases has been confirmed for the US and several major markets including parts of Europe and Japan, with changes kicking in from 2 April. It’s not a small adjustment either – according to Sony’s announcement, we’re looking at roughly a US$100 increase across the board. The standard PS5 now sits at US$649.99, the Digital Edition at US$599.99, and the PS5 Pro…well, that one’s now flirting with US$899.99.
