Logitech G512 X gaming keyboard with TMR switches

What really got me intrigued by the G512 X is its hybrid approach. Instead of going fully analogue, Logitech lets you use both analague and mechanical switches in any of the keyboard’s 39 hybrid TMR switch beds, which Logitech also says is compatible with “most popular analogue and 3-pin/5-pin mechanical switches”.

This allows for an interesting Dual Swap setup, so you can, say, keep WASD on analogue input while leaving everything else as a regular keyboard. Out of the box, the G512 X ships with nine Gateron KS-20 analog switches.

The rest of the keyboard’s features are what you would expect from a flagship keyboard: 8K polling rate, multipoint action (assigning two actions to a single key), dual dials, PBT double-shot keycaps and per-key RGB lighting just to name a few.

Availability and price

The G512 X comes in two layouts: a 75-key version priced at S$279, and a larger 98-key version priced at S$299. It will be available across major retailers and Logitech G Official Store on Lazada and Shopee.
