Going to Thailand may cost more as the Thai baht has strengthened to about 24.35 per S$1, its strongest level in nearly three years. The rally has been linked to a weaker US dollar, Fed interest rate cuts, higher gold prices, China trade exposure and peak year-end tourism demand.
