New PS Plus Extra and Premium Games for December 2025 Are Now Available

New PS Plus Extra and Premium Games for December 2025 Are Now Available

PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers have a whole bunch of new titles to check out, as nine new games have just been added to the service for December 2025. While PlayStation Plus Premium users can check out the iconic PS2 version of Soulcalibur 3, Extra subscribers have some big triple-A hits to jump into, including Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, LEGO Horizon Adventures, and much more.

Sony’s PlayStation-exclusive subscription service has grown to be one of the most popular choices in gaming over the last few years, alongside its biggest competitor, Xbox Game Pass. While Microsoft has long been giving subscribers access to new games each month, PlayStation didn’t offer a catalog of games until it revamped the service in 2022. Originally, PS Plus offered users three new titles to redeem each month, which could be kept as long as the subscription remained active. It also included cloud storage, online multiplayer, and more. Now, however, the service has been split into three separate tiers: Essential, Extra, and Premium. The former of the bunch still offers the same benefits, while Extra and Premium subscribers gain access to additional content, including a monthly rotating game catalog, cloud streaming, a classic game catalog, and more.

The latest batch of PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium games are now available for those in the UK and Europe, and will be live for subscribers in the US later today.

PS Plus Adds 9 New Games to Extra and Premium Tiers

  • Assassin’s Creed Mirage (PS4, PS5)
  • Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty (PS4, PS5)
  • Planet Coaster 2 (PS5
  • Cat Quest 3 (PS4, PS5)
  • LEGO Horizon Adventures (PS5)
  • PAW Patrol: Grand Prix (PS4, PS5)
  • PAW Patrol World (PS4, PS5)
  • Soulcalibur 3 (PS2) – PS Plus Premium

As we hit the halfway point of December, PlayStation has officially added a batch of new games for PS Plus Extra and Premium subscribers to check out. While Premium users will receive access to Soulcalibur 3 as part of the classics catalog, they will also be able to jump into all of the new titles included in the Extra tier. These games include something for everyone this month, with big triple-A titles like Assassin’s Creed Mirage and Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, and family-friendly games like Planet Coaster 2, LEGO Horizon Adventures, two PAW Patrol titles, and more.

The latest additions come at a great time for those looking for some new co-op games to play over the holiday period, as five of the nine titles can be played with friends or family. Cat Quest 3 can be played entirely in local co-op and is a great family-friendly game to check out, alongside the likes of PAW Patrol World, which is also multiplayer. But for those looking for more of a challenge, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is a brutal souls-like that also features an option to call in help from friends. Finally, there’s also LEGO Horizon Adventures for fans of the iconic Horizon series, and Granblue Fantasy: Relink.

For those who aren’t subscribed to Extra or Premium, it has still been a great month for PlayStation Plus Essential users. The latest batch of games was released on December 2, giving subscribers access to five new titles instead of the usual three. These included Killing Floor 3, LEGO Horizon Adventures, Neon White, Synduality: Echo of Ada, and The Outlast Trials. Once redeemed, all five games are available to keep for as long as there is an active PlayStation Plus subscription. Subscribers have until January 5 to claim the titles before a new batch of games is released.

While there are plenty of new games to check out today, December 16 also marks a sad day for PS Plus Extra and Premium, as a whole bunch of titles will be removed from the service. Heavy hitters such as Battlefield 2042, Grand Theft Auto 3 – The Definitive Edition, Sonic Frontiers, and many more have now been removed from the game catalog. In total, PlayStation Plus is saying goodbye to 12 games on December 16.
