Singapore’s youngest athlete in the 2025 SEA Games won a silver medal in the girls’ optimist event on Dec. 14. Anya Zahedi, 12, finished second out of six competitors in the sailing event. “I started sailing when I was seven years old. My sister was in the school’s sailing team, and I was very inspired by her,” said Anya. Her older sister, Nia Zahedi, 16, who also competed in the SEA Games, clinched bronze in the girls’ ILCA 4.
