Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo has upped the intensity once again and shocked the fans with the latest reveal of Yuka Okkotsu’s technique. Fans had been eagerly awaiting the massive duel between Yuka and Dabura, and it has officially begun in the latest chapter of the manga.

Yuji, JJK’s original protagonist, is back. He has a huge role to fulfill in JJK Modulo.
While most fans were excited to see what Yuka’s power would be like after her Binding Vow, what shocked the readers was the fact that Yuka eventually ended up summoning the Divine General Mahoraga in the battle against Dabura. Naturally, this has led to many fans wondering how Yuka even gained access to this power in the first place, but it is all very straightforward. The truth is that Yuka was born with the power of the Ten Shadows technique.
Yuka Okkotsu Has Access to Mahoraga In Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo

Yuka Okkotsu having access to Mahoraga should not come as a major surprise to the fans. The possibility of her having this power was always there. Fans always knew that Yuka was the granddaughter of Maki, which meant that she carried the blood of the Zenin. Even if Maki did not have cursed energy herself, Yuka most certainly did, which made her a contender for this power.

On top of that, it is also quite clear to see in the story that Yuka actually utilized animal-based techniques. The fact that Yuka was able to use these powers was already a big hint from the author Gege Akutami. Now, this power has officially manifested and she was able to summon the Divine General Mahoraga in the chapter, just like Megumi did back in the Shibuya arc of Jujutsu Kaisen.
Yuka Was Born With The Ten Shadows Technique
To put it simply, Yuka has access to the power of the Ten Shadows technique. This is the secret cursed technique of the Zenin clan that only a select few are born with. The previous wielder of the Ten Shadows technique was none other than Megumi Fushiguro. His powers were absolutely immense, and it is because of his technique that Sukuna took a special interest in him.
I think it was during the Edo period…or maybe Keicho? I forget, but the heads of the respective households killed each other in a fight before the aristocracy. Back then, the leaders were a Limitless Cursed Technique user with the Six Eyes like me for the Gojo Family, and a Ten Shadows technique user like Megumi for the Zenin Family. Now, quite clearly, Yuka has access to the same ability, which seems to imply that Megumi has died already, although that’s not necessarily the case, but most likely. Yuka is the current user of the Ten Shadows and she has already mastered it to a great degree.
The strongest power of the Ten Shadows technique is Mahoraga, and Yuka clearly has access to it, which is what she made use of in the battle against Dabura, a calamity that surpasses Special Grade.
Yuka Okkotsu Has Not Tamed Mahoraga Yet
While Yuka Okutsu did summon Mahoraga, it must be remembered very well that she has not actually tamed the Divine General just yet. Yuka has only started the ritual and involved Dabura in it. This is very similar to what Megumi did back in Shibuya. While Megumi gave up on his own life, Yuka is actually way smarter as she just hid in the shadows instead. Yuka avoided the lethal blows from Mahoraga without actually having to tame him and set the Shikigami on Dabura.

This goes to show that Yuka has higher battle IQ than Megumi, at least for now. She is also more adept at using Mahoraga in combat, and it will be interesting to see how this battle proceeds. At some point, Yuka will have to join the battle herself, especially since she has already made a Binding Vow, which makes it interesting to see how she will fight alongside Mahoraga, if she can even do that.
Yuka Okkotsu Will Be The Strongest Sorcerer With Mahoraga And Rika
It must not be forgotten that Yuka Okkotsu has access to the power of Rika as well. While the Rika ring was with Tsurugi, this is a special circumstance where the strongest sorcerer in Japan must have all the weapons they need to deal with the extraterrestrial threat.
As such, it is entirely possible that Tsurugi has already given Yuka the ring to summon Rika, which means that she could actually use Mahoraga and Rika at the same time.
If that truly is the case, then with a tamed Mahoraga, Rika, and also a Binding Vow, Yuka is easily above Special Grade and someone who can even rival the likes of Gojo and Sukuna. Yuka has a brain tumor that is slowly eating her life away, but if she somehow manages to survive, she will most definitely become Japan’s strongest sorcerer.
Jujutsu Kaisen’s sequel, called Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo, runs in the Weekly Shonen Jump Magazine. The series is set 68 years into the future, after the events of Shinjuku Showdown. The main characters of Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo are Yuka and Tsurugi Okkotsu, the grandchildren of Yuta and Maki. Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Chapter 15 will be released on December 14, 2025.
