Following our Editor’s Choice series, where our editorial team selected the best products of the year, we now unveil the results of the Tech Awards 2025 Readers’ Choice series. This segment features the leading tech brands and services in Singapore, as voted for by you, our readers.
This year, we had 52 award categories for polling and after a month of compiling the results, we’re ready to share the outcome to help Singaporeans make an informed buying decision and highlight why these brands came out ahead.
This article is Part 4 (out of 8) and covers the six awards that comprise the Best of Service Providers. Be sure to check out the rest of the results from all the other categories that have been published previously.
Best Telco Service Provider – Singtel
Singtel/GOMO continues to secure the top spot with 40.9%, reflecting strong consumer trust built on consistent network reliability and nationwide coverage.
Singapore users continue to prioritise dependable connectivity for work, entertainment and travel, and Singtel’s combination of premium postpaid offerings and GOMO’s budget-friendly digital plans gives the group broad market appeal. The telco’s ongoing 5G updates, such as its new Priority Plans, revamped 5G+ plans, alongside enhancements in roaming and cross-border digital services, have further helped it stay ahead in public mindshare.
However, its lead has been eroded by both StarHub and Simba compared to last year’s standings. StarHub/Giga remains close behind, thanks to competitive pricing and refreshed 5G plans, but the gap shows that stability still matters more than promotions alone. Looking ahead, competition is expected to intensify as SIM-only pricing pressures persist and MVNOs introduce more niche offerings. For Singtel/GOMO, maintaining leadership may depend on strengthening customer experience, expanding bundled services, and pushing real-world 5G applications that deliver tangible value beyond speed tests.
Best MVNO Service Provider – MyRepublic
MyRepublic dominates the MVNO category with an overwhelming 69.2%, far ahead of Circles.Life at 11.3%, and a remarkable uptick from last year.
The brand’s continued success reflects its identity as a performance-focused alternative to traditional telcos, especially among gamers and heavy-data users who value low latency and stable throughput. MyRepublic has built a strong reputation for transparent pricing, generous data allowances and responsive customer service, which differentiates it in an increasingly crowded MVNO landscape. The brand’s cross-selling strength, leveraging its broadband base, also reinforces customer stickiness. Circles.Life, once a disruptor, loses share as competitors intensify promotions and as consumers gravitate toward providers perceived to deliver more stable network experiences. The next year will be critical: with MVNOs experimenting with lifestyle bundles and micro-plans, MyRepublic’s challenge is to continue innovating without compromising reliability. If it maintains both performance and competitive pricing, it may remain the category’s runaway favourite for another year.
