It’s clear that Everstone Studios has big plans for Where Winds Meet as a new content roadmap has revealed some big additions coming in December. It’s already been a whirlwind month for Everstone Studios following the launch of Where Winds Meet on November 14, as the action RPG has proven to be a massive success story for the company.
While there was plenty of buzz for the title during its early access and beta testing windows, the game seems to have taken off more than most likely expected. In fact, Where Winds Meet hit a massive player milestone in just 24 hours after launch, reaching 2 million players and reaching the top 10 in various best-selling lists on Steam and PlayStation. That number continued to balloon, eventually hitting 9 million players after 2 weeks of being available. With a healthy player base in tow, Everstone appears to have ambitious plans to keep fans engaged.
Where Winds Meet December 2025 Content Roadmap
In a new social media post, Everstone Studios revealed a new roadmap of content for the entirety of December 2025, breaking things down by each week of the month. Week 1 is already in full swing, which saw two additional Jianghu Legacy quests being added to the game with Twelve Years of Feuds and An Unholy Prophecy. Players should be familiar with these quests already, as the ones that launched with the game can offer some great abilities, such as the ability to fly in Where Winds Meet.
Starting on Week 2, which begins on December 11, Where Winds Meet will officially launch for mobile devices, giving players another way to play the game. Week 2 is also a good time to log in as a brand-new zone called the Roaring Sands will make its debut in the Kiang region, also housing a new campaign boss to battle known as the River Master. This battle will be a duo boss fight that is joined by Feng Ruzhi, but players should be prepared to fight a water god and expect a tough battle on par with other major bosses in Where Winds Meet. Week 2 also adds a pair of limited-time activities as well as the Velvet Shade sect.
The content rollout doesn’t stop there, however, as Weeks 3 and 4 add even more for players to do. Starting on December 21, players can take part in the Scarlet Shock Sword Trial, which is a repeatable PvE activity to target farm certain gear. A new Hero’s Realm activity will also go live on the same day called Blazing Gale Dance, a 10-player cooperative raid/dungeon style event. Finally, on December 30, players can sit back and enjoy a special Fireworks Festival to celebrate the end of the year.
Based on this December 2025 plan as well as some of the updates players have seen already, it’s clear that Everstone isn’t planning to rest on its laurels after such a successful launch. The game appears to be ever-changing and evolving over time thanks to feedback from players. There may even be some bigger features on the horizon as well, including a vehicle building mechanic that’s reminiscent of The Legend of Zelda. While released in China so far, players can spend resources like wood to craft custom vehicles, similarly to what players could do with Ultrahand in Tears of the Kingdom. It’s unknown when this will launch worldwide, but it’ll be interesting to see what players can do with it.
