2 Different Diablo 4 Events Are Now Live

Two different Diablo 4 events are live in the game right now: Compass to Carnage and Mother’s Blessing. Until December 2, players can benefit from both of these events to earn extra gold, XP, gear, Aether, and Infernal Horde Compasses as Diablo 4 Season 10 draws to an end.

Diablo 4 Season 10 started on September 23, bringing with it exciting seasonal content like Chaos Armor, Perks, and Rifts, plus permanent updates to Infernal Hordes. The hectic season has been one of the most well-received in history, with fans especially enjoying Chaos Armor and the battle against Bartuc, Lord of Chaos.

Diablo 4 Season 10 Compass to Carnage & Mother’s Blessing Week

Now, to close out the season with a bang, Diablo 4 has kicked off two different events at the same time. Mother’s Blessing is a familiar event that includes a 35% boost to XP gains, 50% more gold, and a bonus Gift of the Tree cache when completing Grim Favors. However, this familiar boost arrives alongside the brand-new Compass to Carnage event in Diablo 4, which increases the drop rates of Infernal Horde Compasses and Aether, along with more abundant Chaos Wave spawns. Both of these events will last for one week, ending on December 2.

  • Live now until December 2 at 10 AM PT/1 PM ET

    • Mother’s Blessing

      • 35% extra XP
      • 50% extra gold
      • Bonus Gift of the Tree cache for Grim Favors
    • Compass to Carnage

      • Increased Infernal Compass drops
      • More Aether from sealing Chaos Rifts
      • Increased Chaos Waves for Infernal Hordes

Of note, the Compass to Carnage event was actually supposed to take place on November 4, a little over halfway through the season. Due to unforeseen circumstances, Diablo 4 delayed this event by several weeks, instead arriving alongside the end-of-season Mother’s Blessing week to help players finish up any Season 10 goals they might have.

Considering Infernal Compasses in Diablo 4 are required in order to reach Bartuc and the Fell Council, these twin events make now the perfect time to take down the Season 10 boss. What’s more, this also provides easier ways to climb the Viz-Jaq’taar Veneration Reputation board so that fans can claim all the rewards they can before the seasonal content rolls over.

December 9 marks the beginning of Diablo 4 Season 11, meaning players will have a huge update to enjoy a week after these events end. Azmodan, the fourth and final Lesser Evil, joins his brethren in Diablo 4 as the demon lords invade various forms of content, including the Pit of Artificers, Helltides, and the Kurast Undercity. Fans will be able to collect Divine Gifts and Sanctification to help them climb the new leaderboard system in The Tower, enjoy a rework of the Masterworking system, and more once the major update arrives.
