Diablo 4 Announces Two Events for October 28

Diablo 4 is ending October with a bang by launching the Mother’s Blessing and Seasonal Splendor events at the exact same time. These two events both arrive in Diablo 4 on October 28, making it the perfect time to jump into Season 10.

Season 10 of Diablo 4 launched on September 23, bringing with it a bunch of chaotic content. Chaos Armor, Perks, and Rifts introduce tons of temporary power-ups and activities into the game, but several evergreen changes have been made as well, including improvements to the Infernal Hordes feature.

Diablo 4 Mother’s Blessing and Seasonal Splendor Events On October 28

Now, Diablo 4 is making sure fans have even more reasons to check out the new season. On October 28, Diablo 4 is kicking off two limited-time in-game events simultaneously: Mother’s Blessing and Seasonal Splendor. Both of these boost events will be available to characters in the Season of Infernal Chaos realms, though characters on Eternal Realms in Diablo 4 can still reap the benefits of Mother’s Blessing.

The Mother’s Blessing event includes a 35% experience bonus and a 50% gold boost in all content that stacks with similar buffs. Since the run of this Diablo 4 event in March, players have also received an extra Gift of the Tree cache when turning in Grim Favors, which ostensibly returns with this iteration of the Mother’s Blessing. Meanwhile, the Seasonal Splendor event will dramatically increase the rate that Infernal Warp is earned. The exact numbers for this boost are currently unknown, but previous Seasonal Splendors doubled season resource income, so this run will probably work on a similar metric.

The duration of these events wasn’t formally announced with them, but past Mother’s Blessings and Seasonal Splendors all ran for one week. Assuming this is the case again, fans will be able to benefit from these boosts from October 28 through November 3, though one or the other could last longer if players are lucky.

This double-event extravaganza comes right around the halfway point for Season 10, as the next season is set to arrive on December 9. The season has not been formally revealed yet, but it is available to test on the PTR, giving fans a closer look at all the exciting features that are coming. Azmodan joins Andariel, Duriel, and Belial, rounding out the Lesser Evils as they collectively invade Sanctuary in a new seasonal activity. With fresh stories, reputations, mechanics, systems, and more, Season 11 sounds like it will be a great way to end the year – and pass the time until Diablo 4 announces its next expansion.
