1. Visit the new Curiosity Cove at Mandai

There’s a brand-new indoor playground and it’s officially the largest nature-inspired playscape in Singapore! Curiosity Cove at Mandai opens this weekend and it promises tonnes of exploration for kids. It was designed for kids aged 3 to 12 in mind, and spans four zones that incorporate multi-sensory touchpoints, interactive digital projections, and so many elements that encourage kids to climb, jump, crawl, hop, skip and basically move to their heart’s content. Tickets cost from $48/child with complimentary entry for one adult and you can get them here. P.S. Remember to bring your non-slip socks as these are a must (for both kids and adults)!

2. Sanrio photo ops & pop-up at Orchard Central (FREE!)

Hello Kitty and the gang are up and about at Orchard Central! Head over this weekend to snap lots of photos with the adorable themed installations located at the walkway just outside the mall. You’ll spot a Christmas cupcake tree and all your favourite characters, including Kuromi, My Melody, Pompompurin and Cinnamoroll. Come after sundown to see the displays completely lit up in festive lights. There’s also a retail pop-up store in the mall, filled with Sanrio merch! More info here.

3. Blackpink experience zones at Singapore Sports Hub (FREE!)

Calling all BLINKs who can’t wait for the Blackpink concert in Singapore on 29 and 30 November! You can get in on the hype early with the Blackpink Experiencce Zones that’ve popped up around the Singapore Sports Hub! Snap lots of pics with the photoworthy booths–it’s free for all. There’s also a light installation right at the Stadium Riverside Walk Fountain! More info here.

4. Snoopy inflatable playground & more at HarbourFront Centre

The Peanuts gang is celebrating the yuletide season at HarbourFront Centre! Bring the little ones to expend all that energy at the Inflatable Playground, explore the neon Aurora Land, and complete the Twinkle Trail quest at the Snoopy Experience Centre ($8 from Wednesday to Friday; $12 from Saturday to Sunday). In December, look forward to FREE smoke bubble presentations (from 5 to 28 December, Friday to Sunday, 5pm, 6pm and 7pm) and Snoopy and Charlie Brown meet and greet experiences (20, 21, 27 and 28 December)! We love that Elmo, the Cookie Monster, Bert and Ernie and all of the Sesame Street pals aren’t just gems from our past; but they’re still going strong today! Over at United Square, you can catch a Sesame Street Christmas Show and character meet-and-greet. Kids can also let loose at the onsite carnival with a carousel, train rides, aeroplane rides and creative activities. The cherry on top of the icing? Daily bubble “snowfall” shows! Ranger Buddies is back at Compass One for their November edition titled ‘Tucker’s Wild Celebration’. Who is Tucker, you might be wondering? Well, Tucker is an adorable otter, and adventurous kiddos can dive right into missions and challenges that spotlight Singapore’s local wildlife. There are five physical and “phygital” activities to complete: find hidden otters, encounter a river rescue, complete a puzzle and more. There’s also a scavenger hunt and a photobooth! VivoCity’s Christmas Candyland is the ultimate candy feast we don’t mind letting our kids indulge in (feast for the eyes, that is)! Over at the outdoor plaza, you’ll spot the mall’s towering 15-metre-tall Christmas tree, surrounded by giant sweets: think gingerbread houses, rainbow lollipops, candy canes and more. Be there at 7.30pm and 8.30pm for the snowfall shows where the kids can frolic and play with foam snow! More info here.

9. Care Bears bubble showers & more at Marina Square (FREE!)

The adorable Care Bears have taken over Marina Square! Kids can enjoy arts and crafts workshops and enjoy twice daily bubble showers right at the mall’s central atrium. Match for Life 2025 by the Bone Marrow Donor Programme (BMDP) is back, and there’s lots to do while supporting a good cause. Kids will love Prof Messy’s Science Show and storytelling sessions, as well as the carnival games, airbrush tattoos and craft booths onsite. There’ll also be live performances throughout the day, a photobooth with superhero cosplayers and BMDP’s mascot, as well as snack booths with ice cream, nachos, truffle mashed potatoes and more! 13. Christmas Train Show at Flower Dome

The Flower Dome at Gardens by the Bay is a must-visit this season! The Christmas Train Show is back with nearly 20 model train chugging through the centre of the Flower Dome. Spot tunnels, bridges and icons from America, including the Statue of Liberty, Grand Central Terminal and the Golden Gate Bridge. We hear there’s even an SMRT train that’ll travel through handcrafted mini Dragon Playground, Supertrees and heritage shophouses! The Kids Festival at 195 Pearl’s Hill Terrace has an array of unique workshops for families! Other than crafts workshops such as beading, bag charms, Lego brick painting and more, there are unique experiences such as Handpan playing, kids’ meditation, and mindfulness workshops for little ones. The largest French Impressionist exhibition in Southeast Asia has landed in Singapore! Captain Mickey and Captain Minnie are taking the reins at Changi Airport and Jewel Changi! The Changi Festive Village is back, and its Disney Cruise theme is fun for the kids and super nostalgic for the adults. The cruise ship and storybook installation at the Terminal 3 departure gate is a show-stopper–head here at 7.30pm and 8.30pm for daily snowfall shows (with an additional 9.30pm show on Friday to Sunday). There are also Disney character meet and greets on selected days. Also, check out a Disney-themed carnival and underwater photobooth while you’re there.
