The Opposites hosts Showa-era Tainanese tea cocktail specialist Bar Lonely, while Madara unveils a new selection of signatures inspired by Shakespeare that features Japanese gins and liqueurs. Also offering bold new concoctions is Socio, which has expanded its menu as well as the number of neighbourhood partners to 16, continuing to reduce waste ingredients across Central.

The Opposites hosts founder and director Rossell Hu of Bar Lonely this weekend. The Tainan watering hole is partnering with NIP Gin to present Bar Lonely’s unique approach to tea cocktails inspired by Japan’s Showa era. The original bar presents inspiring signatures like the M (Princess Princess 1988), inspired by the Zombie classic cocktail and combining rum, bourbon, Iron Buddha oolong tea, home-made falernum and more.
