Singapore Airlines has just unsealed the door of its innovatively designed First Class SilverKris Lounge at Singapore Changi Airport’s Terminal 2, signifying the end of the first phase of its USD 45 million renewal project. The area of the newly built lounge is 1,050 square meters, which is eleven percent larger than the previous one. The lounge has been made to provide a lavish and stylish atmosphere for the top-notch customers of the airline.
A New Era of Luxury at Changi
The revamped SilverKris Lounge is an impressive upgrade, catering to Singapore Airlines’ Suites and First Class customers, Solitaire PPS Club members, and First Class passengers flying with Star Alliance member airlines. With space for around 130 guests, the lounge offers a serene and refined atmosphere, combining modern luxury with ultimate comfort.
Designed by the renowned architecture firm Ong & Ong, the new space continues the design language found in the flagship SilverKris Lounge at Terminal 3 while maintaining its unique identity at Terminal 2. Expansive floor-to-ceiling windows allow natural light to flood the lounge, creating a bright and airy environment. This welcoming space is accentuated by a stunning chandelier and an elegant bar, elevating the overall experience for passengers.
Exclusivity and Comfort Combined
Upon entering the lounge, guests are immediately greeted by a striking 20-metre batik wall, made up of 97 laser-cut plexiglass flowers that pulse softly with light. This feature, inspired by Singapore Airlines’ iconic motif, sets the tone for the immersive experience ahead. The unique batik design, along with the airline’s bespoke Batik Flora scent and the signature Sound of Singapore Airlines, adds a multisensory touch to the space, welcoming visitors with both style and sophistication.
