Haze forecast : Rain expected to keep Kalimantan, Sumatra smoke at bay till Nov 5, Singapore News


Showers over Singapore and the surrounding region are expected to keep the haze situation suppressed till at least Thursday (Nov 5).

In its daily haze situation update on Monday (Nov 2), the National Environment Agency (NEA) said winds are expected to blow mostly from the east or south-east. 

While this could transport smoke haze to Singapore, the agency also pointed out that showers forecast over Sumatra, Kalimantan and the surrounding region are likely to help keep the haze situation suppressed.
