Singapore Flying College’s Pilot Training Expansion
The newly inaugurated facility represents a strategic expansion of Singapore Flying College’s training network.
It complements existing operations in Jandakot, Western Australia, which has served as the primary pilot training base for Singapore Airlines since 1993.
The Tamworth campus is designed to gradually scale operations over the next five years. This expansion aligns with the airline’s broader goal of enhancing training throughput while maintaining high safety and competency standards.
Officials confirmed that the site began operations earlier, welcoming its first batch of cadets in April 2025. Since then, the program has continued to grow with additional trainees entering the system.
