Meta’s Muse AI agent is now available in Singapore’s shopping apps and travel platforms

Its technical protections include isolation (a Sentinel sits between the agent and user), never revealing API keys, asking users before any execution, using secure transport layers to send data, and requiring human intervention to approve purchases or move data out of the VM.

When you open your Muse app or use a Muse-linked service, data also travels between this secure VM and yourself. Third-party services like email apps and others can integrate Muse connectors into their APIs, and you can further customise them for specific connector types. 

In the US, Muse can even help users plan their purchases (it works with Stripe as its payments gateway partner).

What can Muse AI do in Singapore?

As of 28 October 2026, Meta has brought Muse to Singapore with similar functions. Beyond offering agentic assistance, you can use it to plan projects and goals. and even do some shopping.

Users can connect to their Gmail, Google Calendar, and Instagram accounts. Local and popular apps that work with Muse are mainly e-commerce and travel booking apps, which include Shopee, Grab, Singapore Airlines, Agoda, ShopBack, Klook, Trip.com, and Lazada. Meta also said more connectors will be coming on board after launch.

For a start, Muse AI can help users look up products, compare prices, or plan groceries for daily living and e-commerce apps. On travel booking platforms, it can help with ticketing and reservations, and even claim cashback and in-store deals across relevant platforms (if partnered).
