Apple began accepting pre-orders for its first foldable phone, the iPhone Duo, last night at 8pm Singapore time. Within 30 minutes, estimated shipping dates had already slipped to late January 2027.
When we checked the Apple Online Store Singapore shortly after pre-orders opened, estimated delivery dates for all storage configurations had moved to 23 January 2027. Earlier this morning, the estimated shipping date had shifted further to 25 January 2027.
In a statement to CNBC, Apple described pre-order demand for the iPhone Duo as “nothing short of extraordinary”. The company added that it was “working hard to get this revolutionary new product into customers’ hands as quickly as possible” and would continue accepting orders through its online store.
