Due to Luke Browning’s absence, Victor Martins will take on the role of reserve driver for Williams at the Singapore Grand Prix.

Regular reserve driver for the team Whole grainedLuke Browning will indeed be competing this weekend in the 9th and 10th rounds of the Super Formula season in Japan. This is not the first time the driver Alpine en WECVictor Martins occupies the position of reserve driver this season, having already done so twice this season, notably at the Belgian Grand Prix, on the Spa-Francorchamps Circuit.

Usually in the simulator, as a test and development driver, Martins will therefore once again be present close to the Williams F1 teams , in the team’s garage during the various sessions, and ready to replace Alexander Albon or Carlos Sainz if one of the two drivers needs to be replaced.

“It’s always a pleasure to return to the circuit with the Atlassian Williams F1 Team as a reserve driver. Being here gives me the opportunity to work closely with the team and, for me as a driver, it’s also a fantastic learning opportunity for my own development,” explained the French driver. “Having been part of the Williams family since 2025, I’m looking forward to another weekend providing support to help maximize our results.”
