Z-A DLC Leak Reveals All Returning Pokemon

Pokemon Legends: Z-A‘s Mega Dimension DLC will bring more Pokemon into the game, alongside new Mega Evolutions, and a datamine has likely revealed the entire list of DLC Pokemon. While it’s possible some have been missed, it’s still plenty enough to give players an idea of what they could expect—if it turns out not to be the full picture.

By now, many day-one Pokemon Legends: Z-A players have beaten the main story and are awaiting the DLC. The Mega Dimension DLC is set to release by the end of February, so fans should expect a confirmed release date within a few weeks. It’s likely the DLC releases on, if not before, Pokemon Day, as it stands to reason that Nintendo, Game Freak, and the Pokemon Company will turn their eyes toward Gen 10.

According to Twitter user @Mattyoukhana’s datamine, there will be 138 returning Pokemon available in the DLC. Pokemon Legends: Z-A‘s DLC also introduces 19 new Mega Evolutions, including two for Raichu and new Mega forms for Lucario, Garchomp, and Absol (believed to be Z forms). Even some legendary or Mythical Pokemon will be receiving new Mega Evolutions, namely Heatran, Darkrai, Magearna, and Zeraora, likely meaning they and returning forms (like Primal Kyogre/Groudon) play some role in the story.

pokemon legends z-a raichu mega evolutions

Of course, this is all according to a datamine/leak, and it should be taken with a grain of salt. It’s possible that this information is true, but by the time Pokemon Legends: Z-A‘s Mega Dimension DLC release date comes around, some of these have changed significantly. It all remains to be seen, but it should be a fun send-off for the game, given it is only slated for one DLC.

From there, there’s no doubt all eyes are on Pokemon Gen 10, which is expected to be revealed on Pokemon Day: February 2027. The recent Pokemon teraleak 2.0 revealed tons of details for the new region, including its southeast asia-inspired setting, the titles (Pokemon Wind and Wave), and key details about its overall world design and themes. Until then, of course, there’s plenty of reason to keep catching ’em all in Pokemon Legends: Z-A.
