
The autumn 2026 marquee auctions by Hong Kong’s three international auction houses – Sotheby’s, Christie’s and Phillips – from September 28 to 30 generated more than HK$2 billion (US$255.78 million) in combined totals.
This marks a fair increase from the HK$1.3 billion achieved during the spring season, signalling a disciplined market anchored by competitive depth for fresh-to-market works with strong provenance.
