OPPO Find X10 Pro Max: World’s first 200MP camera phone

It’s been a huge couple of days for Android phones. Qualcomm just announced new chips, Vivo has a new flagship, and now it’s OPPO’s turn. The company just announced its new Find X10 series, which consists of three phones: the Find X10 Pro Max, the Find X10, and Find X10E.

The Find X10 Pro Max

As the flagship of the series, the Find X10 Pro Max has the largest display. It’s a 6.78-inch AMOLED that has a refresh rate of up to 144Hz. Inside, it’s powered by MediaTek’s new 2nm Dimensity 9600 Pro chip. Storage starts at 256GB and goes up to 1TB. 

The highlight, however, has to be its camera system. Housed in a sizeable square camera bump, the Find X10 Pro Max has three 200MP cameras, which were co-developed with Hasselblad. 

The main camera uses a 1/1.3-inch 200MP sensor. It features DeepPix sensor technology and is paired with a fast f/1.5 aperture lens. OPPO says it has 17 stops of dynamic range and CIPA 6.5 grade image stabilisation.

The ultrawide camera uses a 1/1.56-inch sensor and has a 13mm focal length. It’s paired with a f/2.2 lens, which, together with the sensor, captures around 102% more light than its predecessor.

Finally, the telephoto camera also uses a 1/1.56-inch sensor and has a focal length of 70mm. It can also focus from as close as 10cm for macro shots. 

Other specs worth mentioning are its large battery. The Find X10 Pro comes with a whopping 8,000mAh capacity battery, and supports up to 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. 

It’s available in three colourways: Moon White, Light Titanium, and Warm Orange. 

Find X10

The Find X10 is for folks who want a smaller and more affordable phone. It features a 6.59-inch display that’s just as advanced as the larger Pro Max. It has a refresh rate of up to 144Hz and a peak brightness of 2,000 nits.

Like the Pro Max, it’s powered by the Dimensity 9600 Pro chip. It also has three cameras, but with some differences. The main camera still shoots at 200MP, but uses a slightly smaller 1/1.4-inch sensor. It’s paired with an f/1.6 lens. The telephoto camera is also a 200MP unit, but has a focal length of 65mm. Finally, the ultrawide camera shoots at 50MP.

It also has an 8,000mAh battery and supports up to 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.

It comes in three colourways: Light Titanium, Orange, and Ice Blue. 

Find X10E

The Find X10E is the most affordable phone in the Find X10 series. It also has a 6.59-inch display, but has a slightly lower resolution and a slower refresh rate of 120Hz. It’s powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500s chip.

The biggest difference, however, is in the cameras. Though it has three cameras, they are all 50MP units. The battery is smaller too, at 7,025mAh, but it still supports 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.

It’s only available in two colours: Light Titanium and Ice Blue.

Availability and pricing

The Find X10 Pro Max starts at CNY ‎6,799 (~S$1,295), while the Find X10 and Find X10E start at CNY 5,499 (~S$1,048) and CNY 4,999 (~S$952), respectively.
