Travellers looking to visit Kazakhstan will soon be able to fly there via a new carrier arriving in Singapore.
Kazakh carrier SCAT Airlines will be operating flights between Changi Airport and Shymkent via Sanya, China from Oct 20, it said in a press release.
Shymkent is known for its rich history and mountainous landscape.
Located in southern Kazakhstan, close to its border with Uzbekistan, it is also a convenient location for those looking to visit the neighbouring country.
According to the airline, the flight from Singapore to Sanya will be about three hours long.
