SINGAPORE: A 28-year-old man will be charged in court on Tuesday (Oct 7) for allegedly hurling vulgarities at police officers at Changi Airport and scratching one of them.
The Canadian national was arrested after the incident on Sunday morning.
At about 9.20am, the police were alerted to a man who was allegedly drunk and causing nuisance at the public departure area of Terminal 1.
“Preliminary investigations revealed that the man allegedly hurled vulgarities repeatedly at the duty auxiliary police officer after being instructed to present and place his boarding pass on top of his passport,” the police said in a media release.
