Best computing, storage, and networking deals from Comex 2026

If you’re looking to spend some money on new electronics, Suntec Convention Centre levels 3 and 4 are where you want to be this weekend. Comex 2026 is happening right now, and we headed down to find some of the best laptop, storage and networking deals at the show. 

Comex 2026 takes place from 3 to 6 September at Suntec Convention Centre Level 3 and 4. Level 3 opens at 11am while Level 4 opens at 12pm. Both floors close at 9pm. You can find directions to Suntec Convention Centre here. 

Acer Swift Air 14

If your main consideration for a laptop is that it has to be lightweight, the Acer Swift Air 14 has to be on your radar. This laptop weighs in at just 1.19kg, and is equipped with a 14-inch WUXGA IPS display with a 120Hz refresh rate, an Intel Core 5 320 processor, 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of PCIe Gen 4 SSD storage. This specific model is going at S$1,299 (U.P. S$1,699), but the 12GB RAM + 512GB storage model might be a more enticing buy. Despite the listed S$1,599 price, we were informed by the folks at the Best Denki booth that showgoers will be able to get it for just S$1,499. 

Freebies include a S$20 Adidas voucher and t-shirt that can be claimed on the spot, as well as an Acer Day gift pack (worth S$242) that can be redeemed online, comprising items like a water bottle, handheld fan, bag and arm sleeves.

HP OmniBook 5 AI

Need a portable laptop that still has good enough specs to handle more intensive workloads? The HP OmniBook 5 AI is going at S$1,799, which is a nice discount from its S$2,199 RRP. Running a Intel Core Ultra 7 355 processor, 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM, 1TB of PCIe Gen 4 storage, the laptop also has a 14-inch 2K OLED touch-capable display. Show promos include a free year subscription of Microsoft 365 Personal, as well as a free Bluetooth mouse and headset.

Challenger is also offering a free gift bundle for each laptop purchase, inclusive of a Bluetooth mouse, a wireless speaker, a handheld fan, a clip fan and a pair of true wireless headphones.

Lenovo Yoga 7 2-in-1 

This is a Challenger-exclusive deal, and if you’re looking for a 2-in-1 laptop, the Lenovo Yoga 7 2-in-1 is going at a very good price. This specific promotion has the laptop priced at just S$2,099 (U.P. S$2,599), and it comes with an AMD Ryzen AI 7 350 processor, 32GB of DDR5 RAM, 1TB of PCIe SSD storage, and the 14-inch WUXGA OLED touchscreen can flip backwards completely to be used as a tablet. It comes with a free Lenovo backpack, and Yoga Pen, in addition to Challenger’s gift bundle.

ASUS VivoBook S16

This is another great deal, with the Asus Vivobook S16 going at S$1,799, down from S$2,599, despite it being a relatively new 2026 laptop. Running on an AMD Ryzen AI 7 445 processor, 32GB of RAM and 1TB of SSD storage, the laptop gets a large 16-inch WUXGA OLED display while weighing in at just 1.7kg. Not only do you get the Challenger gift bundle and a free Asus backpack, the first 200 customers in total will also get S$20 worth of NTUC vouchers, along with a free wireless keyboard and mouse.

MSI Modern 14

If you’re looking for a laptop but you’re on a tight budget, the MSI Modern 14 can be considered. We were informed that there’s an additional discount bringing the actual show price down to S$859 instead of the listed S$899 (U.P. S$1,099). You also get the plethora of Challenger freebies, as well as a free laptop sleeve. At the time of Comex starting, there were only eight units available, so you’ll want to hurry if you’re looking at this deal.

SanDisk Extreme Portable SSD

Prices for storage are through the roof at the moment, but we’ve managed to find some good deals at Comex 2026. SanDisk has consistently won our Readers Choice award for Best External Storage Brand over the last few years, and for good reason. The SanDisk Extreme Portable SSD is going at S$239 (U.P. S$429) for the 1TB version, and it comes with a S$15 NTUC voucher, a gift pack as well as other goodies like a free protective case and vacuum bottle. 

Additionally, each purchase will come with three spins on a prize wheel, as well as one chance at the lucky draw.

Toshiba Canvio Advance

If you don’t need the ruggedness or the quick SSD speeds of the SanDisk Extreme Portable SSD, the Toshiba Canvio Advance is a great option. For the same S$239 price (U.P. S$299), you’ll be able to get a 4TB external hard disk drive to backup your photos, videos and other files for longer term storage. The HDD comes with a 3-year warranty and is USB 3.2 Gen 1-compliant, which means transfer speeds won’t be too slow.

Orbi RBE373 Wi-Fi 7 Mesh System

Looking for a fuss-free upgrade to your home Wi-Fi system? The Orbi RBE373 system (1 router + 2 satellites) is going at just S$459 (U.P. S$599), and you’ll be able to take advantage of the dual-band 2.5G Wi-Fi 7 system. If your house isn’t that big and you only need one satellite node, there’s the RBE372 option at S$349 (U.P. S$429). 

You can find the Orbi RBE373 mesh system at NETGEAR’s booth (8001) on Level 4. 

ASUS ROG Rapture GT-BE98

This flagship gaming router from ASUS ROG is the ultimate home network upgrade, with support for quad-band Wi-Fi 7, dual 10G ports and quad 2.5G ports to ensure you can plug in all your gaming gear for the fastest wired internet. While the official showfloor price is S$999 (U.P. S$1,099), we were informed that you can ask for an even better price if you’re there in-person.

If the regular edition isn’t enough to entice you, the Rapture GT-BE98 Edition 20 limited edition model is also available with a special price (U.P. S$1,199). There are very limited stocks for this model, however, so you’ll want to rush down as soon as possible to try and snag one.
