ASUS Vivobook 14

The ASUS Vivobook 14 is available in a couple of variants, and the most affordable one can be had for S$999 (U.P. S$1,199) at the show. For the money, you get a 14-inch Full-HD display, the AMD Ryzen 7 170 processor, 16GB of memory, and a 1TB SSD. If you need a larger display, there’s a 15-inch version that goes for the same price.

Lenovo Yoga 7a/i 2-in-1 Flip

Lenovo is famous for its convertible laptops, and those ready to splash the cash on a high-end version should take a look at the Yoga 7 2-in-1 Flip. This is available with an AMD or Intel processor. The AMD version, which comes with the Ryzen AI 7 445 processor, 24GB of memory, and a 1TB SSD. It goes for S$2,599. The Intel version is powered by the Core Ultra 7 355 processor, and has 32GB of memory and a 1TB SSD. It goes for S$2,899. Both laptops feature 14-inch WUXGA OLED displays.

LG gram 14

Readers who are concerned about portability should definitely shortlist the LG gram 14. The most affordable variant of the gram 14 features a 14-inch Full-HD+ display and is powered by the Intel Core Ultra 5 325 processor. It also has 16GB of memory and a 512GB SSD. Crucially, it weighs just 1.12kg and has a fairly large 72Wh battery that LG says offers up to 20 hours of battery life. It’s S$2,023 (U.P. S$2,499). Microsoft Surface Laptop

If you are looking for a Snapdragon laptop, there’s Microsoft’s 13-inch Surface Laptop. It’s powered by the 8-core Snapdragon X Plus processor, and comes with 16GB of memory, and the option of a 256GB or 512GB SSD. The 256GB version is S$1,458 (U.P. S$1,699), while the 512GB version is S$1,588 (U.P. S$1,799). Every purchase will come with a free laptop sling bag, USB-C hub, and travel adapter.

MSI Prestige 13 AI+ Evo

The lightest and most compact laptop that I found at the show was the MSI Prestige 13 AI+ Evo. This laptop has a 13.3-inch OLED display that has a resolution of 2880 x 1800 pixels. It’s powered by the Intel Core Ultra 9 288V processor with 32GB of memory and 1TB SSD. It weighs just 990g. It’s going for S$2,699.

TP-Link Archer GE550

Those thinking of upgrading their home network to Wi-Fi 7 should check out the TP-Link Archer GE550, which is one of the most affordable tri-band routers you can find. This tri-band router is capable of delivering up to 574Mbps on its 2.4GHz network, up to 2,882Mbps on its 5GHz band, and up to 5,764Mbps on its 6Ghz band. It also features high-speed connectivity in the form of a 5Gbps WAN port, a 5Gbps LAN port, and three 2.5Gbps LAN ports. This ensures better compatibility with your high-speed fibre plan. It’s going for S$244 (U.P. S$399).
